How to install ConvoPath on Shopify
ConvoPath works on every Shopify theme — Dawn, Sense, Refresh, Impulse, and any third-party or custom Online Store 2.0 theme — by pasting one snippet into theme.liquid. Setup takes about three minutes.

Copy your ConvoPath embed snippet
Log in to ConvoPath, open your chatbot's settings, and go to the Install / Embed section. Click 'Copy snippet' to grab the one-line <script> tag — it contains your unique workspace ID, so each site you install on stays isolated. Keep the tab open; you'll paste this snippet into your platform's admin in the next step.

Open Online Store → Themes → Edit code
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes. On your published theme tile, click the '⋯' (more actions) button and choose 'Edit code'. The code editor opens in a new view with the theme's file tree on the left.

Paste the snippet into theme.liquid
In the file tree under 'Layout', click theme.liquid. Scroll to the bottom of the file and paste the ConvoPath <script> tag immediately before the closing </body> tag. Click Save in the top-right. Shopify will hot-reload the storefront within a few seconds.

Verify the chatbot is live
Open your site in an incognito/private window (so you bypass any logged-in admin bars or caches). The ConvoPath launcher should appear in the bottom-right corner within 2–3 seconds. Send a test message to confirm it answers from your trained content. If you don't see the launcher, view page source and search for 'convopath' to confirm the snippet is rendering.
Shopify's checkout pages (checkout.shopify.com / Shop Pay) are intentionally locked down — third-party scripts cannot run there unless you're on Shopify Plus and use Checkout Extensibility. The ConvoPath launcher will appear on storefront, product, collection, blog, and cart pages, but not on the checkout. If you have a headless Hydrogen storefront, paste the snippet inside your <Head> component instead. If your store also uses a 'Customer Events' pixel manager, you do NOT need to add the snippet there — theme.liquid covers all storefront pages.
