How to install ConvoPath on WooCommerce

Because WooCommerce runs on WordPress, the install is identical to a regular WordPress site — paste the ConvoPath snippet once and it appears on every shop, product, cart, and account page.

    Copy your ConvoPath embed snippet

    Log in to ConvoPath, open your chatbot's settings, and go to the Install / Embed section. Click 'Copy snippet' to grab the one-line <script> tag — it contains your unique workspace ID, so each site you install on stays isolated. Keep the tab open; you'll paste this snippet into your platform's admin in the next step.

    Install the WPCode plugin

    In wp-admin go to Plugins → Add New and install 'WPCode — Insert Headers and Footers'. This is the safest path because the snippet survives WooCommerce and theme updates. Activate the plugin.

    Paste the snippet into the Footer field

    Open Code Snippets → Header & Footer, paste the ConvoPath <script> tag into the 'Footer' box, and click 'Save Changes'.

    Verify the chatbot is live

    Open your site in an incognito/private window (so you bypass any logged-in admin bars or caches). The ConvoPath launcher should appear in the bottom-right corner within 2–3 seconds. Send a test message to confirm it answers from your trained content. If you don't see the launcher, view page source and search for 'convopath' to confirm the snippet is rendering.

Train ConvoPath on your product catalog, shipping policy, and returns policy so it can answer pre-purchase questions on product pages and cut cart abandonment. The launcher is fully visible on WooCommerce's checkout page (unlike Shopify's locked checkout) — if you'd rather hide it there to keep the page distraction-free, ask ConvoPath support to add /checkout/ to your hide-on rules.
