How to install ConvoPath on Webflow

Webflow projects on a paid Site Plan can load ConvoPath site-wide from Project Settings — no embed blocks required. It also works on Workspace-hosted sites that have a Site Plan attached.

    Copy your ConvoPath embed snippet

    Log in to ConvoPath, open your chatbot's settings, and go to the Install / Embed section. Click 'Copy snippet' to grab the one-line <script> tag — it contains your unique workspace ID, so each site you install on stays isolated. Keep the tab open; you'll paste this snippet into your platform's admin in the next step.

    Open Project Settings → Custom Code

    From the Webflow Designer, click the gear icon in the left sidebar to open Site Settings (formerly 'Project Settings'). Click the 'Custom Code' tab in the top nav.

    Paste the snippet into 'Before </body> tag'

    Paste the ConvoPath <script> tag into the 'Before </body> tag' field (NOT the Head field — putting it there will block your page render). Click 'Save Changes' at the bottom of the panel.

    Publish your site

    Site-wide custom code only runs on published sites — it will not appear on the *.webflow.io staging URL until you publish, and it will not run in the Designer preview. Click Publish in the top-right and confirm the deploy to all the domains where you want ConvoPath to load.

    Verify the chatbot is live

    Open your site in an incognito/private window (so you bypass any logged-in admin bars or caches). The ConvoPath launcher should appear in the bottom-right corner within 2–3 seconds. Send a test message to confirm it answers from your trained content. If you don't see the launcher, view page source and search for 'convopath' to confirm the snippet is rendering.

Webflow's free Starter Site Plan does not include custom code — you'll need at least the Basic Site Plan. If you only want ConvoPath on a single page (e.g. /pricing), open that page's settings → Custom Code → 'Before </body> tag' instead of doing it project-wide.
